What does data erasure mean?

The data is overwritten by a certified, professional software programme so that it is no longer possible to retrieve the old data.

Which software is used to erase the devices?

We use the trusted industry-standard software from market leader Blancco.

What happens to data storage media that cannot be erased?

If a device’s storage medium cannot be erased for technical reasons, the storage medium is professionally destroyed so that the data is still securely eliminated.

Is the erasure process documented?

The deletion process is documented for each device. The current status can be viewed at any time in our customer portal, where you can see which processing step your hardware is currently in and which of our employees has carried out the tasks.

Will I receive proof of the deletion?

After the erasure process is complete, you will receive proof of erasure for each device, based on its unique serial number. This allows you to prove that you have disposed of your devices properly in the event of an external audit.
